Aperture opens its new permanent Upper West Side home with “Aperture Loves New York,” an inaugural photography installation organized by Executive Director Sarah Meister. The presentation brings together photographs and Aperture books by more than twenty artists who have shaped, and been shaped by, New York City, including Diane Arbus, Dawoud Bey, Robert Frank, Nan Goldin, Deana Lawson, Stephen Shore, Tyler Mitchell, Carrie Mae Weems, Hank Willis Thomas, and others. On view September 18 through November 1, 2026 at Aperture, 380 Columbus Avenue at West 78th Street, New York, NY 10024. Free to the public.
