Event · Seoul National University Museum of Art
Presented by Seoul National University Museum of Art, “Everyday Images: How Do They Speak to Us?” traces how pop imagery has appeared and changed across Korean contemporary art. Works by fourteen artists—including Kwon Oh-sang, Shin Hak-chul, Lee Dong-ki and Son Dong-hyun—move between mass-media and consumer imagery, comics and characters, and combinations of traditional painting with popular culture. The exhibition focuses on how familiar images are borrowed, transformed and recombined inside artworks, and how those changes address the viewer. On view through November 22, 2026 at the SNU Museum of Art in Gwanak-gu, Seoul. The museum is generally open Tuesday–Sunday, 10:00–18:00. Check the official SNU listing before visiting.
